I would love to tell you about our wonderful little guy, well maybe not so little guy these days, Armin. From the moment we decided to pick out our new puppy, I knew Great Oaks was a good match for our family. I called several other breeders but didn't get the same warm response. They answered my questions and gave advice about any concerns I might have. When we decided to put our deposit down, they let us know when the puppies estimated take home date would be and that we could choose our puppy as soon as they were ready, around 6 weeks. We of course made it a family affair, kids in tow, to pick Armin out. The best part is the family met us and we could see the mom and dad as well as the area the dogs lived. It is a little farm of happiness compared to most breeders. The plus was also that the kids had been around the dogs and puppies, this helped our little guy feel right at home, as we have two boys, ages 5 and 8. Armin is smart, sweet, and very handsome. We can't take him anywhere without someone mentioning his coloring or beautiful coat. Overall the experience was wonderful and we would choose Great Oaks Kennel again. Top Notch.

Working with Great Oaks Kennel was a great decision! We wanted a German Shepherd puppy that was healthy and from a great family where she would be raised by loving breeders and tons of children. As a result, our Athena does so well with kids and she's easily trainable, loving, and the sweetest puppy we could ask for. The puppy arrived in a brand new crate with water, food and all the paperwork. I received pictures and updates all along the way and got to pick the puppy I wanted.
